5. Operation
1 Switching on the lamp
Pushtheplugcompletelyintothemainssocket.
2 Enjoying the light
While using the lamp on the face, always keep the eyes closed in order to avoid injury to the eyes (do
not look directly at the infrared light).
The recommended duration of treatment is maximum 12 minutes. We recommend selecting a shorter
radiation period to start with. However, the skin of some people may show an over-sensitive (e.g. with
extreme redness, blistering, itching, heavy sweating) or allergic reaction to heat radiation, even when
the lamp is used correctly.

ThetimeroftheSIL25offersadditionalcomfort.Thetimerisprovidedwithaslidingswitchwhich
makes it steplessly adjustable up to 12 minutes. The timer can be used as a time stop. In case you do
not want to use the timer function, select the
setting (continuous setting). In this case, pay attention
tothelengthofuse.Prolongedusecandamagetheskin!

3 Important instructions
The distance between the infrared lamp and the radiated part of the body should not be less than the
following:
SIL25:atleast32in(80cm)
Basically,
examine the radiated section of the body regularly. Discontinue radiation immediately if any signs of
an over-sensitive or allergic reaction appear and consult a physician.
4 Switching off the lamp
Pullthemainsplugfromthesocket.

Thelampishotafterbeingused.Letthelampcoolofffirstlongenoughbeforeyouputit
away and/or pack it up!
Pleasenotethatthemainscablemustnotbewoundroundtheinfraredlampeitherforstorageor
when in use.
6. Changing the infrared lamp
Before every cleaning and when exchanging the infrared lamp, the appliance must be switched off, disconnected
from the mains and must be cool.
Pleasenotethatonlyinfraredlampsoftheoriginaltypemaybeusedasreplacements.
