5. Medir la presión sanguínea
Colocar el brazalete
• Descubra su muñeca izquierda. Tome cuidado de que
la irrigación sanguínea del brazo no esté restringida
por prendas o similares demasiado estrechas. Colo-
que el brazalete en el lado interior de su muñeca.
• Cierre el brazalete con el cierre velcro® de manera
que el canto superior del aparato quede colocado
aproximadamente a 1 cm bajo las eminencias de la
palma de la mano.
• El
brazalete debe quedar posicionado estrecha-
mente alrededor
de la muñeca, pero sin apretarla.
Atención:
El aparato debe ser utilizado exclusiva-
mente con el brazalete original.
Colocar el cuerpo en la posición correcta
• Repose unos 5 minutos antes de iniciar la medición.
De lo contrario, pueden producirse desviaciones.
• Durante la medición puede Vd.
estar sentado o tendido. Es im-
prescindible apoyar y doblar el
brazo. En todo caso es necesario
observar que el brazalete se en-
cuentre a la altura del corazón. De
lo contrario, pueden producirse considerables des-
viaciones. Relajar el brazo y la palma de la mano.
•
Para
evitar obtener resultados de medición erró-
neos, es importante mantenerse tranquilo y no hab-
lar durante la medición.
Llevar a cabo la medición de la presión sanguínea
• Ponga en marcha el tonómetro presionando el
botón „
“.
• Antes de la medición se visualiza brevemente el re-
sultado de la última medición. Si en la memoria no hay
medición alguna, el aparato visualizará el valor “0”.
• El brazalete se infla a 180 mmHg. Se reduce lenta-
mente la presión del aire del brazalete.
Si se detecta ahora una tendencia de presión sanguí-
nea demasiado alta, se infla nuevamente aumentán-
dose la presión del brazalete. Tan pronto como se
detecta el pulso, se visualiza el símbolo de pulso
.
• Ahora se visualizan los resultados de medición de la
presión sistólica, presión diastólica y pulso.
• Vd. puede interrumpir en cualquier momento la me-
dición con el botón „
“.
