4. Preparar la medición
Colocar las pilas
• Retirar la tapa del compartimento de pilas en el lado
izquierdo del aparato.
• Colocar dos pilas del tipo 1,5 V Micro (alcalina tipo
LR 03). Es imprescindible observar que las pilas sean
colocadas correctamente de acuerdo con la polaridad
indicada en el aparato. No utilizar pilas recargables.
• Colocar cuidadosamente la tapa para cerrar el com-
partimento de pilas.
Cuando aparece el símbolo de cambio de pilas ,
no es posible continuar la medición, siendo necesario
cambiar todas las pilas.
Las pilas normales y las pilas recargables agotadas y
completamente descargadas deben ser eliminadas en
los depósitos especialmente marcados para este efec-
to, en los puntos de recepción de basura especial o
bien en las tiendas de artículos eléctricos. Conforme a
la ley, usted está obligado a desechar las pilas en una
de las formas anteriormente descritas.
Nota:
Los siguientes símbolos se encu-
entran en las pilas que contienen sub-
stancias tóxicas: Pb = esta pila contiene
plomo, Cd = esta pila contiene cadmio,
Hg = esta pila contiene mercurio.
Ajustar la fecha y la hora
Es absolutamente recomendable ajustar la fecha y
la hora. Solamente así podrá Vd. almacenar y luego
activar sus valores de medición correctamente con
fecha y hora.
La hora se indica en el formato de 24 horas.
Indicación: Si Vd. mantiene presionado el botón
„MEM“, el ajuste de los valores se efectúa de forma
rápida.
• Presione al mismo tiempo „
START
“ y „MEM“. Ahora
comienza a parpadear el mes. Ajuste con el botón
„MEM“ el mes 1 hasta 12 y confirme el ajuste con el
botón „
START
“.
• Ajuste el la hora y el minuto y confirme cada ajuste
con el botón „START“.
5. Medir la presión sanguínea
