4. Het oplaadlampje knippert wanneer de batterijen worden opgeladen.
De batterijen worden volledig opgeladen in ongeveer 7 uur.
Belangrijk: wanneer oplaadbare batterijen worden gebruikt,
moet de batterij schakelaar in de oplaadpositie (rechargeable)
worden gezet. Batterijen worden alleen opgeladen, als de radio
uit is geschakeld en is aangesloten op het lichtnet middels
de adapter.
Beperkte stroom, storing of uitgaan van de radio zijn tekenen dat de
batterijen waarschijnlijk opgeladen moeten worden.
Als de radio voor een langere periode niet wordt gebruikt, is het
raadzaam om de batterijen uit de radio te halen.
BELANGRIJK: De batterijen mogen niet worden blootgesteld aan
extreme hitte, zoals zon, vuur en dergelijke. Na gebruik moeten
wegwerp batterijen, indien mogelijk, naar een Recycle Center
gebracht worden. In geen geval mogen batterijen door middel van
vuur worden vernietigd.
Gebruik van de AC adapter
De AC adapter voor gebruik met de radio levert 12 volt DC, en een
vermogen van 1 amp; de middelste pin is de positieve pool.
1. Stop de adapter plug in de DC ingang aan de linkerkant van de radio.
2. Plug de adapter in een standaard 13 A stopcontact. Wanneer de
adapter aan staat en is aangesloten op de radio, wordt het
batterijgebruik vanzelf uitgeschakeld. Als de adapter niet aan staat,
maar is aangesloten, dan maakt de radio wel gebruik van
de batterijen. De adapter dient uit het stopcontact te worden
gehaald wanneer de radio niet wordt gebruikt.
BELANGRIJK: De adapter is de manier waarop de radio aangesloten
is op de voeding. Het stopcontact moet daarom tijdens het gebruik
van de radio goed toegankelijk zijn. Om de radio volledig van de
netspanning af te halen, moet de adapter volledig van de stopcontact
verwijdert worden.
