PIN code
De PIN code (Persoonlijk Identificatie Nummer) beschermt
uw SIM-kaart tegen gebruik door onbevoegden. De PIN
code wordt meestal tegelijk met de SIM-kaart verstrekt.
Als de PIN-controle
(5-3-1), aan staat, wordt na
aanzetten van de telefoon altijd om de PIN code
gevraagd.
Geeft u drie keer na elkaar een onjuiste PIN code in, dan
moet u de PUK code invoeren en op
OK drukken
. Toets
vervolgens een nieuwe PIN code in en druk op
OK. Geef
tenslotte uw nieuwe PIN code nogmaals in en druk op
OK.
PIN2 code
Bij sommige SIM-kaarten wordt een PIN2 code verstrekt.
Deze code is nodig voor bepaalde functies, bijvoorbeeld
het opladen van het beltegoed. Deze functies zijn alleen
beschikbaar indien uw SIM-kaart ze ondersteunt.
Geeft u drie keer na elkaar een onjuiste PIN2 code in, dan
moet u de PUK2 code invoeren en op
OK drukken
. Toets
vervolgens een nieuwe PIN2 code in en druk op
OK. Geef
tenslotte de nieuwe PIN2 code nogmaals in en druk op
OK.

PIN codes en wachtwoorden
Uw telefoon en de SIM-kaart hebben verschillende
toegangscodes om ervoor te zorgen dat ze niet door
onbevoegden gebruikt kunnen worden.
Deze toegangscodes (behalve de PUK- en PUK2 codes)
kunt u wijzigen in het menu Beveiliging
(5-3). Meer
informatie hierover vindt u op pagina 94.
Wachtwoord telefoon
Met deze beveiligingscode kunt u voorkomen dat de
telefoon wordt gebruik door onbevoegden. Het
wachtwoord is in de fabriek ingesteld op 0000. Wij
adviseren u dit wachtwoord te wijzigen zodra u uw
telefoon in gebruik neemt. Bewaar de nieuwe code op
een veilige plaats, gescheiden van de telefoon.
Als u vijf keer achterelkaar een onjuiste code ingeeft,
accepteert de telefoon gedurende de volgende vijf
minuten geen codes.
