U kunt zoeken naar potentiële problemen met het systeem en
de relevante oplossingen voor het probleem bekijken. U kunt
ook de benodigde referenties zoeken voor de bediening van de

Wat is een herstelgebied?
A
Een computer van Samsung beschikt over een extra partitie
voor het herstellen van computers of het opslaan van back-
upbestanden. (Alleen voor modellen met Recovery.)
Deze partitie wordt een herstelgebied genoemd en
bevat een herstelimage met het besturingssysteem en
toepassingen.

De weergegeven capaciteit van het
vasteschijfstation (HDD) in Windows verschilt van de
productspecicaties.

Bij de berekening van de capaciteit van het opslagapparaat
(HDD) door de fabrikant wordt aangenomen dat 1 kB gelijk is
aan 1000 bytes. Het besturingssysteem (Windows) berekent
de opslagcapaciteit echter op basis van de aanname dat 1
kB gelijk is aan 1024 bytes. Als gevolg hiervan wordt voor de
capaciteit van het vasteschijfstation in Windows een lagere
waarde weergegeven dan de werkelijke capaciteit.
De weergegeven capaciteit in Windows is mogelijk kleiner
dan de werkelijke capaciteit omdat sommige programma's
een bepaald gedeelte van het vasteschijfstation buiten
Windows beslaan.
Voor modellen met Recovery wordt de capaciteit van
het vasteschijfstation in Windows mogelijk weergegeven
als kleiner dan de werkelijke capaciteit omdat Recovery
gebruikmaakt van een verborgen gebied van ongeveer
5-20 GB op het vasteschijfstation voor het opslaan van het
imagebestand voor herstel. Dit verborgen gebied wordt
niet meegerekend in de totale beschikbare capaciteit voor
Windows.
De grootte van Recovery verschilt per model, afhankelijk van
de grootte van de toegepaste programma's.
