BATTERIES

Insert batteries (1 x CR2032) observing the polarity signs (+ and -) inside the battery

compartment. Close the battery compartment.

TO PRE-SET METRIC OR IMPERIAL UNITS

Every time the scale is switched on it will always initially show either metric (g) or imperial

(lb/oz) units, according to the position of the slide switch on the underside of the scale. Set

this switch to the units you generally prefer to use.

TO SWITCH ON

1) Place bowl on scale before switching on.

TO MEASURE SOLIDS

To switch between units press kg lb to scroll through until the desired unit is reached.

g = grammes, oz = ounces, lb = pounds

TO MEASURE LIQUIDS

To switch between units press ml ﬂ.oz to scroll through until the desired unit is reached.

The Aquatronic™ liquid measure feature is suitable for all water based liquids, including

wine, milk, stock, cream etc. If your recipe shows litre or pint measures: 1 litre = 1000 ml,

1 pint = 20 ﬂ.oz, 1/2 pint = 10 ﬂ.oz, 1/4 pint = 5 ﬂ.oz. ml = millilitres, ﬂ.oz = ﬂuid ounces

Note: Oils have a lower speciﬁc gravity, which will result in a volume reading of approx

+10%. If measuring oils by volume on this scale, please adjust for this accordingly

TO ADD & WEIGH

To weigh several dierent ingredients in one bowl, press ON/ZERO to reset the display

between each ingredient.

AUTO SWITCH OFF

Auto switch-o occurs if display shows 0 for 1 minute or shows the same weight reading

for 3 minutes.

MANUAL SWITCH OFF

To maximise battery life press the OFF button.

GUARANTEE

This product is intended for domestic use only. Salter will repair or replace the product, or

any part of this product, (excluding batteries) free of charge if within 15 years of the date

of purchase, it can be shown to have failed through defective workmanship or materials.

This guarantee covers working parts that aect the function of the scale. It does not cover

cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear and tear or damage caused by accident or

misuse. Opening or taking apart the scale or its components will void the guarantee. Claims

under guarantee must be supported by proof of purchase and be returned carriage paid to

Salter (or local Salter appointed agent if outside the UK). Care should be taken in packing

the scale so that it is not damaged while in transit. This undertaking is in addition to a

Chaque fois que vous mettrez la balance sous tension, elle achera intialement des unités

métriques (g) ou impériales (livres/onces), en fonction de la position de l’interrupteur

coulissant qui se trouve sous la balance. Réglez cet interrupteur sur les unités que vous

préférez généralement utiliser.

METTRE EN MARCHE

désiré. La fonction de mesure des liquides Aquatronic convient à tous les ingrédients

contenant de l’eau (par ex. : vin, lait, bouillon, crème). Si les mesures de votre recette sont

données en litres ou en pintes: 1 litre = 1000 ml, 1 pinte = 20 ﬂ.oz. 1/2 pinte = 10 ﬂ.oz,

1/4 pinte = 5 ﬂ. oz. ml = millilitres, ﬂ. oz = onces liquides

Remarque: l’huile présente une densité relative plus faible et donnera un relevé environ

10 % supérieur à la mesure réelle. Pour obtenir un volume d’huile avec cette balance, faites

le calcul nécessaire.

AJOUTER ET PESER

Pour peser plusieurs ingrédients dans le même bol, appuyer une fois sur le bouton ON/ZERO

pour que l’achage reviendra à 0 prêt à peser l’ingrédient suivant dans le même bol.

L’ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE

L’arrêt automatique se marche si l’achage montre 0 pendant 1 minute ou (une lecture de) un

poids pendant 3 minutes.

LA MISE SUR ARRÊT

Pour prolonger la vie de la pile, appuyer sur la touche OFF.
