Switching on of TV
1. Remove the battery cover from the remote control unit and install two AAA type batteries
according to the diagram inside the battery compartment. Replace the battery cover.
2. Connect your aerial to the TV set.
3. Connect your TV to a 230 VAC power socket.
4. Switch on your TV with the switch on the front panel. The red light will be illuminated.
If the screen doesn’t light up, push the button P- or P+ on the front panel of the television,
or any of the keys

Notes:
1. After switching the television set on by using front panel button, the set switches to the
mode, what is set in the line POWER ON of the menu table OPTIONS:
- it turns on the standby mode, if it is selected. In this mode, lights up the red lamp.
- it turns on to the working state, if the LAST STATE is selected and TV was turned of
by using front panel button from the working state.
- it turns on to the standby mode, if the LAST STATE is selected and TV was turned of
by using front panel button from the standby mode.
2. When you turn on the TV from the standby mode to the working mode, the red lamp fades
on the front panel of television.

In Teletext mode press to start the search of displayed page again.
In Teletext mode press to reveal hidden text (e.g. answers). Press again to hide this text.
The key which choose the groups of teletext languages.
Page expand key. In Teletext mode, press to enlarge top half of the page. Press again to
enlarge the bottom half. Press again to return to normal size.
When this button is pressed, the number of the program being received, the current time
( if set ), status of the shut down timer, settings of fixed picture parameters are shown.
Your television is controls using the MENU tables SOUND,
PICTURE, VIEW, CLOCK, AUTOSEARCH, MANUAL
SEARCH, EDIT, OPTIONS, PROGRAM TUNE, which are
shown in the screen when you push RC button OK longer
than 2 second. There are written to the separate lines the
titles of the TV parameters and their ways of the tune up
and selection in the MENU tables.
When you push the colour RC buttons, you can go
directly to MENU tables: SOUND - red, PICTURE - green,
VIEW - yellow, CLOCK - blue.
MENU table or the line of table in which is written wanting
to change or tune the parameter, is chosen by RC buttons

∨, and the active or regulation of this parameter is done by RC buttons < or >. The
MENU tables have gone from the TV screen, when you push RC button OK or TV one or
two times.
Note: the chosen line in the table is marked by cursor and the text’s colour changes.

Utilisation du télétexte
1. Mettez la chaîne sur laquelle l’information en télétexte est télévisée.
2. Appuyez sur la touche TXT et mettez le mode télétexte en marche.
3. À l’aide des touches 0, 1, …, 9 de la télécommande, sélectionnez la page voulue (3 chiffres).
Votre télévision commence à chercher la page de télétexte sélectionnée. Au bout d’un
instant, la page sélectionnée d’information télétexte apparaîtra à l’écran.
4. Si certains symboles ne sont pas reproduits correctement sur la page télétexte, le mauvais
groupe de langue télétexte pourrait être sélectionné. Appuyez sur la touche I/II et choisissez
le groupe qui convient le mieux : R/W, R/E, E/W, E/E, GRE.
5. Si vous souhaitez revenir en mode télévision, appuyez sur la touche TV ou TXT.
Remarques :
1. S’il n’y a pas de télétexte sur la chaîne choisie, vous observerez la mention PAS DE TÉLÉTEXTE
lorsque vous passerez en mode télétexte.
2. La commande de l’information télétexte à l’aide d’autres touches est spécifiée au chapitre «
Télécommande ».
