2.3 Musik-Server einrichten

Wenn Sie Musikdateien aus einem Computer abspielen wollen, muss der Compu-

ter für Musik- oder Medienfreigabe entsprechend eingerichtet sein.

Mit UPnP Medienfreigabe kann das Radio Musik aus einem freigegebenen Me-

dienarchiv abspielen und verschiedene Informationen einsehen, wie Künstler, Al-

bum oder Genre.

Wenn Sie einen geeigneten Server haben, wie etwa einen PC mit Windows Media

Player10 oder neuer (WMP), und wenn Ihr Musikarchiv mit umfangreichen Infor-

mationen versehen ist, sollten Sie die Funktion Medienfreigabe verwenden.

Nur der UPnP Server muss eingerichtet werden.

2.4 Medien mit Windows Media Player freigeben

Der am meisten verbreitete UPnP Server ist Windows Media Player (10 oder neuer). Als

Alternative hierzu können andere UPnP Plattformen oder Server verwendet werden.

Zum Einrichten von WMP für die Medienfreigabe folgendermaßen vorgehen:

1. Sicherstellen, dass der PC mit dem Netz verbunden ist.

2. Sicherstellen, dass das Radio eingeschaltet und mit demselben Netz verbunden ist.

3. Die Audiodateien und Ordner, die Sie für Ihr Radio freigeben wollen, in das Medie-

narchiv in WMP einfügen (Library > Add to Library…).

4. Medienfreigabe in WMP einrichten (Library > Media sharing…).

5. Sicherstellen, dass das Radio Zugriff auf die Medien hat. Markieren und Allow

anklicken.

Sie können auch einen Namen für die freigegebenen Medien unter Einstellun-

gen… eingeben. Dialogfenster mit OK schließen.

6. Nun ist der PC bereit, um die Musik über das Radio abzuspielen. Das WMP UPnP

Programm läuft im Hintergrund, Sie müssen WMP nicht extra starten.
