Tips:
De meldtekst van uw antwoordapparaat mag niet
langer dan tien seconden zijn.
Gebruik geen muziek in de meldtekst.
Als uw faxapparaat problemen heeft met het her-
kennen van oude faxapparaten die geen herken-
ningssignaal vooruitsturen, zoals gebruikelijk bij
nieuwere apparaten, moet u er in de meldtekst op
wijzen dat de beller de faxontvangst kan starten
door eerst op de toetsen * en 5 te drukken en
vervolgens op START/COPY.
Mocht de automatische faxontvangst niet mo-
gelijk zijn, dan kunt u de ontvangst handmatig
starten door op START/COPY te drukken.
Als uw antwoordapparaat over een “spaarfunctie”
beschikt (dat wil zeggen, een functie waarbij het
aantal belsignalen verandert zodra er nieuwe be-
richten zijn ingesproken), dan kunt u deze functie
het beste uitschakelen.
Het kan zijn dat het antwoordapparaat niet alleen
de binnengekomen berichten, maar ook faxop-
roepen telt.
Bedenk dat de code voor het starten van de fax-
ontvangst vanaf een andere telefoon (fabrieksin-
stelling * en 5) niet dezelfde is als die voor
toegang op afstand om na te gaan of er nieuwe
berichten zijn ingesproken. Indien noodzakelijk
kan de code in functie 34 worden gewijzigd (zie
paragraaf Tips & Trucs / Easylink).
Als uw antwoordapparaat de oproep aanneemt,
maar uw faxtoestel niet stopt met rinkelen,
probeer dan het antwoordapparaat serieel te
installeren door het bijvoorbeeld op het EXT.-
aansluitpunt van uw faxtoestel of op een serieel
telefoonstopcontact aan te sluiten (zie hoofdstuk
Installeren / Andere apparatuur).
Als uw antwoordapparaat geen oproepen kan
aannemen, dan zal uw faxtoestel na het bij
bellen totaal: ingestelde aantal belsigna-
len automatisch met de faxontvangst beginnen.
Registreert uw externe antwoordapparaat fax-
signalen terwijl uw faxtoestel geen faxen kan
ontvangen, dan dient u de aansluiting van uw
externe antwoordapparaat te controleren. Sluit
het externe antwoordapparaat op het EXT.-aan-
sluitpunt of op een serieel telefoonstopcontact
aan (zie hoofdstuk Installeren / Andere ap-
paratuur).
