It’s recommended to put the thermostat in a lower position after approximately 30 minutes. The final

adjustment of the thermostat depends on the desired heat and must be defined in function of this.

Prior to filling up the shaker grid must be shaken by means of

the lever. Also, put the thermostat in position 8 before

opening the filling lid. Hence gasses in the hopper and burning

chamber cannot enter the room.

When the supply of oxygen to the fire is obstructed, the combustion will be incomplete and many harmful

substances will be released. To reduce the side-effects of this process, it’s best to let the fire burn for half

an hour at full power every day that it is used.

Also avoid adding excessive fuel. As a result , too much heat is released and the temperature in the

appliance can rise too high.
