Il motore si mette in funzione solo quando viene premuta la staffa di comando di
sicurezza sulla parte superiore del longherone. Nel momento in cui viene
rilasciata la staffa di comando sollecitata dalla molla, questa si ribalta
nuovamente indietro verso l'alto in posizione di partenza, di conseguenza viene
attivato il freno motore e entro 3 secondi sia il motore che il coltello a barra si
fermano completamente.

Il motore funziona automaticamente a regime max. ottimale richiesto per ottenere un
taglio preciso (numero di giri del motore = numero di giri della lama).
