Para arrancar el motor sólo puede permanecer detrás del cortacésped.
Coloque el cortacésped en una superficie plana no cubierta de hierba alta (la hierba
demasiado alta detiene el arranque de la barra portacuchillas y dificulta el proceso de
arranque). Al iniciar o arrancar el motor, la máquina no se puede inclinar en sentido
vertical sino, en caso necesario, colocarla en diagonal presionando la barra guía hacia
abajo de forma que la herramienta de corte se muestre hacia el lado que no esté en
contacto con el usuario pero sólo a la distancia justa necesaria. Antes de que el
aparato se encuentre de nuevo en el suelo, ambas manos deberán estar ubicadas en
la parte superior de la barra.
