Avviare il motore solo stando dietro il tagliaerba.
In ogni caso collocare il tagliaerba su un terreno piano, che non sia ricoperto con erba
troppo alta (l’erba troppo alta blocca l’accensione della barra di taglio e rende più
difficile la procedura di avviamento). All’atto dell’accensione e dell’avvio del motore non
inclinare eccessivamente la macchina, altrimenti, se necessario, premere verso il basso
l’impugnatura con un'inclinazione tale che l'utensile di taglio sia rivolto lontano
dall'utente, ma solo di quanto strettamente necessario. Prima di riposizionare
l’apparecchio sul terreno, entrambe le mani devono trovarsi sulla parte superiore
dell’impugnatura.
