PRIMA DI UTILIZZARE L’APPARECCHIO PER LA PRIMA VOLTA
• Rimuovere tutte le eventuali etichette, gli adesivi o parti d’imballaggio dal ferro e dalla piastra.
• Non preoccuparsi se dal ferro appena acceso esce un po’ di fumo. Appena si inizierà a utilizzare
l’apparecchio il fumo cesserà di uscire.
• Stirare un vecchio scampolo di cotone per pulire la piastra.
AUTOSPEGNIMENTO
• Il ferro si spegne automaticamente se lasciato per 30 secondi con la piastra sull’asse da stiro o dopo 8
minuti se in posizione verticale.
• La spia luminosa lampeggerà no a quando il ferro non verrà mosso.
• Per riaccendere il ferro, sollevarlo, inclinarlo in avanti, quindi riposizionarlo in verticale per
raggiungere la temperatura d’esercizio.
PREPARAZIONE
1. Controllare i simboli per una corretta stiratura dei capi (i j k l).
2. Iniziare a stirare i tessuti che necessitano basse temperature j, poi quelli che necessitano medie
temperature k e nire con quelli che richiedono alte temperature l.
RIEMPIMENTO
Il ferro dovrebbe essere riempito con acqua del rubinetto, ma se si vive in una zona con forte presenza di
acqua calcarea, utilizzare l’acqua distillata.
Se si compra dell’acqua distillata, controllare che sia adatta per l’utilizzo nei ferri da stiro.
Non aggiungere nulla nell’acqua: in caso contrario il ferro potrebbe subire danni.
1. Staccare l’apparecchio dalla presa di corrente.
2. Posizionare la temperatura su •. Posizionare il vapore su S.
3. Sollevare il coperchio dell’apertura di riempimento.
4. Versare l’acqua lentamente per permettere all’aria contenuta nel serbatoio di fuoriuscire e di evitare
la formazione di bolle d’aria.
5. Non riempire oltre il livello max altrimenti si causerebbe una fuoriuscita d’acqua durante l’utilizzo.
6. Abbassare il coperchio dell’apertura di riempimento. Asciugare le gocce.
ACCENSIONE
1. Posizionare la temperatura su •. Posizionare il vapore su S.
2. Mettere il ferro in posizione verticale.
3. Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
4. Ruotare la manopola di controllo della temperatura per regolare l’impostazione desiderata vicino
all’indicatore.
5. Quando il ferro raggiunge la temperatura desiderata, la spia si spegne. La spia poi si accenderà e si
spegnerà ciclicamente perché il termostato funziona per mantenere la temperatura selezionata.
