POPEKANJE
S popekanjem kruh izpostavimo nadzorovani vročini, kar povzroči kemijsko reakcijo, ki jo imenujemo
»Maillardova reakcija«. Na ta način kruh ne samo porjavi, temveč se mu izboljšata okus in tekstura, zaradi
česar je toast tako dober!
Ker je popekanje kombinacija sušenja in nato peke kruha, nanjo vplivajo različni dejavniki, kot so razlike
med debelino kruha, svežina in površinska struktura. Lokalne in regionalne razlike v električni napetosti
lahko prav tako vplivajo na čas popekanja, zato vam svetujemo, da v začetku preizkusite različne nastavitve
popekanja, da najdete svojo najljubšo stopnjo.
POPEČENJE KRUHA
1. Opekač postavite pokonci na stabilno vodoravno površino, ki je odporna proti vročini.
2. Vtič vstavite v električno vtičnico.
3. Nastavite želeno stopnjo zapečenosti (1 = svetlo, 7 = temno).
4. Kruh postavite v odprtino opekača (največja debelina je 25 mm).
5. Vzvod potisnite do konca navzdol. Vzvod se ne zatakne, če opekač ni priključen na električno energijo.
6. Lučka 5 se vključi in grelniki se segrejejo.
7. Ko je popečen kruh končan, izskoči.
8. Za ustavitev pečenja pritisnite gumb 5.
Ročico lahko dvignete še bolj, da odstranite male predmete.

1. Nastavitev zapečenosti pustite na najljubši stopnji, vstavite zamrznjen kruh, potisnite vzvod navzdol
in se dotaknite gumba f.
