PRIMA DI UTILIZZARE L’APPARECCHIO PER LA PRIMA VOLTA
1. Impostare sul massimo il livello doratura.
2. Usare il tostapane vuoto per condizionare gli elementi nuovi.
3. Si può produrre un certo odore, ma non è da preoccuparsi. Assicurarsi però che la stanza sia ben
ventilata.
TOSTATURA
La tostatura consiste nell’esporre il pane ad un calore controllato, che causa una reazione chimica detta
‘Reazione di Maillard’. In questo modo, il pane non viene soltanto abbrustolito, ma ne vengono alterati il
sapore e la struttura, ecco perchè il pane tostato ha un sapore così buono!
Dal momento che la tostatura è una combinazione di essiccamento e di cottura del pane, è inuenzata da
vari fattori quali le dierenze di spessore del pane, di freschezza e di struttura della supercie. Le
dierenze di tensione elettrica domestica locale e regionale possono anch’esse avere un eetto sul tempo
di tostatura, ciò spiega perché raccomandiamo di iniziare provando dierenti impostazioni di tostatura
per trovare quella che più vi piace.
TOSTATURA DEL PANE
1. Posizionare verticalmente il tostapane su una supercie stabile, in pari e resistente al calore.
2. Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
3. Ruotare il controllo doratura sulla regolazione richiesta. La parte centrale (3-6) del controllo doratura
ha più posizioni numerate che permettono un più accurato controllo sull’impostazione di doratura
nella gamma media/scura. Dato che il tostapane tosta più rapidamente di quanto si è abituati di
solito, consigliamo di iniziare con una impostazione bassa e di fare piccole regolazioni no a quando
si avrà una certa esperienza di utilizzo con il tostapane.
4. Metta una fetta di pane (con spessore massimo di 25 mm) nella fessura.
5. Premere completamente in giù la leva. Se il tostapane non è collegato alla rete elettrica
d’alimentazione però non si blocca.
6. La spia si accende e gli elementi si riscaldano.
7. Appena pronto, il toast salta fuori.
8. Se necessario, è possibile utilizzare le pinze per l’estrazione dei toast per aiutarvi a togliere piccoli
rimasugli dalle fenditure di tostatura.
9. Per arrestare la tostatura, premere il pulsante 5.
• Si può alzare ulteriormente la leva, per rimuovere piccoli pezzi.
• Si può alzare la leva durante la tostatura, per vericarne il livello, poi abbassarla di nuovo.
PANE CONGELATO
1. Lasciare il controllo doratura sul valore preferito, introdurre il pane congelato, abbassare la leva e
premere il pulsante f.
2. Si accende ora la spia luminosa f e il tempo di tostatura viene cambiato automaticamente per
ottenere lo stesso livello doratura del pane non congelato.
COME RISCALDARE IL TOAST
1. Lasciare il controllo doratura sul valore preferito, inserire il toast, abbassare la leva e premere il
pulsante m.
2. S’accende ora la spia luminosa m e il tosto viene soggetto ad un breve periodo di riscaldamento.
3. Riscaldare solo i toast normali, non quelli “imburrati”.
