7 Mettere la quantità esatta di caffè nel filtro.
a) Utilizzare 1 cucchiaio da tavola raso di caffè macinato per ogni tazza.
b) Utilizzare 1 cucchiaio da tavola abbondante di chicchi interi per ogni tazza.
c) Il numero di cucchiai da tavola di caffè deve essere proporzionale al numero di tazze di
acqua.
8 Chiudere il coperchio del filtro, e premere verso il basso per agganciare il fermo.
C ACCENSIONE
9 Rimettere la caraffa sulla piastra.
10 Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
• Il display si illuminerà, indicando 12:00 lampeggiante e W + 12 (12 tazze).
C CAFFÈ ALL’ISTANTE
11 Ignorare il display.
12 Utilizzare il pulsante W per portare la parte inferiore del display all'impostazione di
macinatura di cui si ha bisogno:
X = state utilizzando il caffè macinato
W + 4, 6, 8, 10, o 12 = state utilizzando i chicchi di caffè + il numero di tazze/cucchiaio da
tavola
13 Premere il pulsante 1.
• Se state utilizzando i chicchi di caffè, si metterà in funzione il macina caffè.
14 Subito dopo, il caffè comincerà a scendere nella caraffa.
• Se si vuole spegnere la macchina mentre il caffè è in preparazione, premere il pulsante 1. La
spia 1 si spegne.
15 Quando il caffè è pronto, la piastra lo manterrà in caldo.
16 Il display andrà avanti, per indicare quanto tempo dura la funzione di mantenimento al caldo.
17 Dopo un determinato periodo di tempo, lo scaldatore si spegnerà, il display smetterà di
emettere luce e l'apparecchio entrerà in modalità standby.
18 Per accendere l'apparecchio, premere il pulsante 2 .
• Il tempo per mantenere al caldo è impostato per default a 40 minuti.
• È possibile cambiare questa impostazione - vedi sotto.
• Dopo circa 40 minuti, i cambiamenti chimici influiscono sul gusto del caffè.
C CAFFÈ PROGRAMMATO
19 Impostare l’orologio sull’ora esatta.
a) Utilizzare i pulsanti h e min per impostare ora e minuti esatti.
b) È un orologio a 12 ore - il display indica PM per il pomeriggio.
c) Se si va oltre, non è possibile tornare indietro.
d) La macchina del caffè manterrà le impostazioni fino a che non viene staccata la spina dalla
presa di corrente.
20 Impostare il timer sull’ora in cui si vuole iniziare a preparare il caffè.
a) Premere il pulsante T e tenerlo premuto per 3 secondi.
b) “Y” comincerà a lampeggiare sul display.
c) Se non si preme alcun pulsante per 5 secondi, il display tornerà all'impostazione normale.
d) Bisognerà dunque premere di nuovo il pulsante Y e ricominciare da capo.
e) Utilizzare i pulsanti h e min per impostare ora e minuti esatti.
f) Una volta impostato il tempo, aspettare 5 secondi e il display tornerà all'impostazione
normale.
