A MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES
Siga las precauciones básicas de seguridad, incluyendo:
1 Este aparato deberá ser usado por, o bajo la supervisión de un adulto responsable. Use y
guarde el aparato fuera del alcance de los niños.
2 No ponga el aparato en líquidos, no lo use en un cuarto de baño, cercano a agua, o al
aire libre.
3 Cuando use solamente una parrilla de tostar, no permita que entre algo en la otra, ya
que ambas parrillas estarán “encendidas” al bajar el mando de poner el pan abajo.
4 Ponga el tostador sobre su base en una superficie firme, nivelada y resistente al calor.
5 El pan puede quemarse. No use el aparato cercano a, o debajo de, las cortinas u otros
materiales combustibles y vigílelo mientras está caliente.
6 La zona entorno a las ranuras se calienta mucho – ¡no la toque!
7 Coloque el cable de manera que no sobresalga, y alguien pueda tropezar en él o
engancharlo.
8 No cubra el aparato ni ponga nada sobre él.
9 Si se atasca el pan, desenchufe el tostador, déjelo enfriar y saque el pan con cuidado. No use
nada puntiagudo para hacer esto ya que podría dañar las resistencias.
10 No tostado nada con mantequilla, puede incendiarse.
11 No use pan roto, curvado o deformado, podría atascar el tostador.
12 Cuando no lo use, desenchufe el aparato.
13 No use el tostador a menos que la bandeja recogemigas esté correctamente colocada y
cerrada.
14 No use el aparato para ningún fin distinto a los descritos en estas instrucciones.
15 Este aparato no debe ser usado por un temporizador externo o por un sistema de control
remoto.
16 No use el aparato si está dañado o funciona mal.
17 Si el cable está dañado, éste deberá ser cambiado por el fabricante, su agente de servicio, o
alguien con cualificación similar para evitar peligro.

U ANTES DE USAR POR PRIMERA VEZ
Ponga el nivel de tostado al máximo (6). Haga funcionar el aparato vacío para purgar las
resistencias nuevas. Puede que esto huela un poco, pero no es algo que deba preocuparle.
Asegúrese de que la estancia esté bien ventilada.
T TOSTAR PAN
1 Enchufe el aparato a la corriente.
2 Mueva el control de tostado a la posición deseada (1 = poco tostada, 6 = muy tostada).
3 Ponga el pan en la ranura (con un grosor máximo de 25 mm).
4 Apriete el tirador totalmente hacia abajo.

5 Cuando esté lista, la tostada subirá.

6 Para parar de tostar, pulse el botón 5.
H ELEVACIÓN EXTRA
7 Después de tostar trozos pequeños (pan de barra, etc.) se puede elevar un poco más el
tirador, para permitir que puedan sacarse con mayor facilidad.
