ELECTRONIC SELECTING RPM (GL040E-GL080E)
The rpm can be adjusted by rotating the wheel
(14)
. The choice of speed
depends on the characteristics of the abrasive disc and the material to
be worked.
DISASSEMBLING AND REPLACING THE GRINDING WHEEL OR
DISC-HOLDER
This operation can be performed in two ways.
- First method: lock the spindle shaft (4) by pressing the button (3) and
simultaneously turning the grinding wheel until it comes to a stop.
Loosen the ring nut (10-10A) with the adjustable wrench (12), replace
the grinding wheel or fiber disc, then tighten firmly. Loosen the
spindle shaft by releasing the button and manually turn the grinding
wheel or disc-holder to verify that it has locked in place.
WARNING: remember to press the spindle shaft locking button only
after the tool has come to a complete stop to avoid breaking the
gearbox or the push-button pin and invalidating the warranty.
- Second method: to lock the spindle shaft (4) insert the 17 mm wrench
(12) into the slot of the spindle shaft, between the grinding wheel or
disc-holder and the gear box. Loosen the ring nut with the adjustable
wrench, replace the grinding wheel or fiber disc, then tighten firmly.
Tools other than those mentioned must not be used for slackening
for tightening purposes.
