2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND
PREVENTION OF ACCIDENTE
Before operating the machine, please read
through the operating instructions completely,
follow the Safety Instructions in this manual as
well as the generai Safety Instructions for Power
Tools in the accompanying booklet.
2.1. WARNING
For you own safety, do not attempt to use your
drill until the battery is fully charged and you
have read all instructions:Remember the drill is
always in an operating condition as does not
need to be connected to a power supply. When
not in use, place the forward/ reverse switch in
the neutral position.Before drilling check that
there are not electrical cables, water or gas pipes
running below the surface-use a metal / voltage
detector. Do not expose either the drill or charger
to rain or water. Do not overcharge the battery
(more than 5 hours) as this could damage the
battery cells.
2.2. SECURE WORK
Use clamps or a vice to hold the work. It is safer
than using your hand and it frees both hands to
operate the tool.
2.3. AVOID UNINTENTIONAL STARTING
Do not carry the tool with a finger on the switch.

Safety is a combination of operator common
sense and alertness at all time when the tools
are being used.
2.5. DISPOSAL OF BATTERY
Ensure battery is disposed of safely as instructed
by the manufacturer.
2.6. HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR BATTERIES
General: do not put in fire, or mutilate--cells may
burst or release toxic materials. Do not short cir-
cuit cells as this may cause burns.
2.7. MAINTENANCE
Either the drill or the charger require any special
maintenance. Keep both the drill and the charger
in a dry place where they will not be expose for
frost of direct sunlight.
3. OPERATING THE TOOLS
Charging the battery pack
You tool is delivered only partly charged and
must be fully charged before use, for the fist
charge we recommend charging for 12 hours.
Take off the battery pack from the tool and
assemble the battery pack into the charger, then
put the plug of the charger into the electrical
outlet which supplies 230 volt, the red and green
light will illuminate which indicating that charging
is taking place, after charging for about five hour,
the red light will go out and the green only will
illuminate which indicating the battery pack is
fully charged.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
- Press the eject buttons (6) while pulling the bat-
tery down until released;
- insert the new battery making sure that voltage
corresponds to machine voltage and that the rib
