Warning:
When mounted towel rail operation is possible only in the heating stage 1 (1000 W).
If the towel rail is not attached, you can choose between heating stage 1 and 2.
3.3 Setting the temperature
1. Start the appliance by setting the desired heating power using the heating level switch.
When first put into operation or after a longer period without heating
a short-term odour can arise.
Set thermostat temperature
Turn the rotary knob for setting the thermostat temperature (see Fig. 4)
clockwise to the maximum position (position "+"). Wait until the room has
reached a temperature you find pleasant. Turn the rotary knob anticlockwise
until you hear an audible click. The thermostat control now ensures
a more or less constant room temperature by automatically switching on and off.
P If the room temperature is more than 30°C, the appliance will not be switched
on by the thermostat, even if it is set to the maximum level.
Set frost protection (only manual)
Turn the thermostat control anticlockwise in the "--" direction until a click is perceptible and
move the heating level switch to position I or II. If the room temperature now falls below
5°C, the appliance will automatically switch on and off again at approx. 7°C, thereby
preventing frost damage.
3.4 Switching off the appliance
1. The fan must continue running for about 1 minute before switching off.
2. Move the heating level switch (see Fig. 4) to position "0".
3. Pull the power plug out of the socket.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down before covering it or putting it away.
