If your vacuum cleaner does not start
The appliance is not plugged-in, check that the appliance is correctly plugged in.
If there is no suction
An accessory or the tube is clogged. Unclog the accessory tube or flexible hose.
The cover was not closed properly: check that the bag is properly installed and
reclose the cover.
If the suction of your vacuum cleaner has
dropped, it makes a noise and whistles
An accessory or the flexible hose is partially clogged. Unclog the accessory
tube or flexible hose.
The bag is full or clogged with fine dust.
Fit
a new bag or empty the fabric dust bag.
The filter is full: change the HEPA* filter cassette and fit it back into position (see
page 26 paragraph 2).
If the manual suction regulator on the grip is open, close the manual suction
regulator*.
If the bag full indicator remains red
The bag is full. Fit a new one.If the floor nozzle is hard to move around
Set vacuum power with the 3-position power control*
If the power cable does not rewind
completely
The power cord is slow in re-entering its housing. Pull the cord out to its entire
length and press on the automatic cord
rewind pedal.
If problems persist, take your vacuum
cleaner to the nearest Rowenta approved
Service Centre (see list of approved
service centres) or contact the Rowenta
Customer Service (see contact details on
last page).
TROUBLESHOOTING
IMPORTANT As soon as your vacuum
cleaner starts to malfunction, and before
performing any checks stop the appliance
by pressing the Start/Stop switch.

Read the instructions for use carefully before using your appliance for the first

Separate the foam (10b) from the microfilter (10a) (fig. 21).
Dispose of the microfilter in a dustbin and
replace it with a new microfilter Ref. RS-
RT3077.
Wash the foam protection of the motor (10b) with warm, soapy water, rinse and leave
to dry for at least 12H before refitting it.
Once it is dry, place it on top of the
microfilter (10a).
Refit the Microfilter cartridge (10) in its compartment (fig. 22).
Put the Wonderbag back into place (fig. 19).
Ensure that the Microfilter cartridge is
fitted correctly before closing the cover.
Cleaning your vacuum
Clean the accessories of your appliance with
a soft damp cloth, then dry them. Do not use
abrasive or aggressive products.
