CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Changing the bag
The bag capacity indicator (5) tells you when the bag
is full or saturated.
If you notice that your vacuum cleaner is less
efficient, select the maximum power and by lifting
the floor head off the floor. If the indicator remains
red, replace the bag.
Open the lid (9) of your vacuum cleaner - fig. 13.
a) If your vacuum cleaner is fitted with a paper
bag* (20.a) :
• Remove the bag support frame (18) - fig. 14 ; unclip
the bag (20.a) by pressing the lever - fig. 15, then
dispose of the bag in a dustbin - fig. 16.
• Fit a new bag, positioning it by means of the tab and
reclip it back on to the bag support frame - fig. 20. Put
the bag support frame into position in the runners -
fig. 21. and place the bag inside the compartment -
fig. 22.
• Make sure that the bag is in the correct position
before you close the lid (9).
Your vacuum cleaner is also compatible with the
Wonderbag Compact bag ref. WB3051.
b) If your vacuum cleaner is fitted with a textile
bag* (17):
• Remove the bag support frame from the bag
compartment (18)- fig.16a, then remove the textile*
bag from its support by sliding it along the runners.
• Open the bag by means of the zip- fig. 17, then
empty it into a dustbin- fig. 18.
• Clean the bag using clean water
• Leave it to dry for at least 24 hours (only put the bag
back in when it is completely dry).
• Make sure that the zip is properly closed- fig.19
before putting it back in place.
2. Cleaning the foam filter for
protection of the motor
• The foam filter protecting the motor (12) must
always remain in place during use.
Open the lid (9). The grid (13) - fig. 23 then remove
the foam-filter (12) - fig. 24.
Shake it and clean it, every ten dustbag changes,
with tepid soapy water.
Rinse, dry and put it back in place.
Let the foam-filter dry (12) completely before putting
back in place.
Rinse it and leave it to dry for at least 12 hours
before putting it back.
Attention: ensure that the foam filter is properly dry
before putting it back
3. Change the HEPA filter capsule*,
the washable HEPA filter capsule*
or the micro filter capsule* every 10
times you change or clean the bag
3.1- The Hepa* filter cassette
Open the lid (9) of your vacuum cleaner - fig. 13.
Remove the Hepa* filter cassette (15) - fig. 25 and
dispose of the cassette in a waste bin.
Fit the new Hepa* filter cassette(15) in its
compartment - fig. 28.
Check that the Hepa* filter cassette (15) is fitted
correctly before re-closing the lid (9).
Change the HEPA filter cassette every 10 times
you change the bag
3.2- Washable HEPA filter cassette* (for appliances
with a textile bag)
• Open the lid (9) to your vacuum cleaner - fig. 13.
• Remove the washable HEPA filter cassette (14) - fig.
25, tap the side without the grid on the side of the
dustbin - fig. 26.
• Wash the cassette under running water and leave to
dry for 24 hours - fig.27.
• Replace the washable HEPA filter cassette (17) in its
housing - fig. 28.
• Clean the washable HEPA filter cassette every 6
months.
3.3- The microfilter cassette*
Open the lid (9) of your vacuum cleaner - fig. 13.
Withdraw the microfilter cassette* (16) - fig. 25.
Separate the grey foam filter (16b) from the
microfilter (16a).
Dispose of the microfilter (16a) in a waste bin and
replace it with a new Microfilter.
Wash the grey foam filter (16b) with warm soapy
water (mild detergent). Squeeze it out and leave it to
dry for at least 12 hours.
Caution: Make sure that the grey foam filter is
completely dry before putting it back in place.
Re-fit the grey foam filter (16b) to the microfilter
(16a).
Re-fit the microfilter cassette* in its compartment
(16) - fig. 28.
Check that the microfilter cassette* (16) is fitted
correctly before re-closing the lid (9).
Change the microfilter every 10 times you change
the bag.
