You have just purchased an oil heater, ideal for quickly heating the different rooms in your house.
This highly compact appliance can be easily stored or moved around from one room to another for your comfort.

Your appliance must be unplugged before proceeding with any cleaning work.
You can clean it with a slightly damp cloth.
IMPORTANT: Never use abrasive products which might damage the appearance
of your appliance.
We recommend that you clean the air inlet and outlet grilles at least once a year;
(clean with a vacuum cleaner if necessary).
• Before using the appliance for the first time, ensure that your mains voltage
corresponds to the voltage indicated on the appliance.
Your appliance must be used with a power plug with an earth connection. It
is a class 1 appliance.
3 - FASTENING OF THE WHEELS
• Fitting of the front wheels :
- Fix the plate (L) to the heater on the side containing the controls by inserting the
attachment tabs into the slots in the lower grille of the heater and then lock with 2
screws (fig. 9).
• Fitting of the rear wheels :
- Assemble the two large wheels (G) on the axle (K) and press until you hear a click.
- Fix the heater axle on the humidifier side using the 2 otherscrews.
- Turn the heater over so that it is standing on its wheels.
• For your safety, an additional internal thermostat regulates automatically the
casing temperature.If necessary, it will switch off the appliance for a short time.
When this happens you will notice the indicator lights on the switches will go
out. The heater will automatically switch itself back on again. This safety device
will also operate if the air outlet and inlet vents are obstructed.
• If the appliance is tilted, a safety system automatically cuts off the power.
Return the appliance to a vertical position and it will start operating again.
This product is manufactured in China.
WARNINGS
It is essential that you read these instructions carefully and comply with
the following recommendations.
This appliance complies with European directives 73/23/EEC and
89/336/EEC.
• Before using, always check the condition of the appliance, the power soc-
ket and the power cord.
• Do not pull on the power cord or the appliance, even to unplug it from
the wall socket.
• Fully unwind the cord each time before use.
• Do not place the appliance immediately below a power socket.
• Never insert objects into the appliance (e.g. needles...).
When in use, this appliance must be kept out of the reach of young child-
ren, animals and certain handicapped people.
• Do not use your appliance in a dusty room or a room where there is a
risk of fire.
This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial
use,inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the
manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
after-sales service or a person with similar qualifications to avoid any danger.
• Furthermore :
• the heater is filled with a quantity of special oil which is precisely calcula-
ted to match its dimensions. Repairs requiring the body of the heater to be
opened must therefore be carried out exclusively by the manufacturer or its
After-Sales Service (the same applies if oil has been lost from the heater.)
You must comply with the regulations concerning disposal of the oil
when the heating appliance is scrapped.
VERY IMPORTANT :
NEVER COVER THE APPLIANCE, even temporarily, as there is a danger
of overheating.
Keep the appliance 50 cm away from any objects (curtains, walls, aero-
sols, etc.)
NEVER USE IT TILTED OR LYING ON ITS SIDE.
This appliance must not be used in damp places.
Do not use this appliance near a bath, shower, sink or swimming pool.
NEVER ALLOW WATER TO PENETRATE THE APPLIANCE.
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
In the event of a long absence : set the switches to the initial
position l and unplug the appliance.
4 - OPERATION
Starting up the appliance and choosing the operating mode:
Power selection :
Mod. : OR 260
One
Switch pressed and indicator light on power 600 W.
One
Switch pressed and indicator light on power 900 W.
Both
switches pressed and both indicator lights on power 1500 W.
Mod. : OR 270
One
Switch pressed and indicator light on power 800 W.
One
Switch pressed and indicator light on power 1200 W.

switches pressed and both indicator lights on power 2000 W.
Thermostat :
Adjust the temperature setting, according to your own comfort, by turning the dial (C) (fig. 1) :
Frost-free setting :
This setting enables you to automatically maintain the temperature above 0°C in a
normally insulated room, whose volume corresponds to the power of your appliance.
To do so, plug in your appliance, turn the dial (C) so that the marker is opposite the “
symbol and press either of the power selection switches (D; indicator light on).
Humidifier:
There is a humidifier (fig. 3-8) located in the rear part of the radiator to maintain a balanced
level of humidity in the air. To top up or change the water in the tank, tilt the flap, remove
the tank/flap assembly and slide the flap off the tank. Then open the tank cover and fill with
water up to the maximum level indicated on the flap.
Close the cover and replace the assembly.
Caution : this tank should only contain water so it is prohibited to add perfume, petrol, etc.
Risk of burns when handling the tank because the water in it may be hot.
6 - STORAGE
Your appliance is equipped with a cord storage space located at the bottom of the
appliance on the side with the controls.
It is important to allow the appliance to cool before winding the cord.
When you are not using your appliance, store it in a dry place.
7 - IN THE EVENT OF PROBLEMS
Never dismantle your appliance yourself. A poorly repaired appliance may be dan-
gerous for the user.
Before contacting one of our Approved Service Centres (see enclosed list), ensure
that:
– the appliance is set to normal operating mode;
– the air inlet and outlet grilles are totally clear.
