17 • Rengjøre strykejernet
Tørk det kalde strykejernet med en klut eller med en fuktet svamp.
Fjern renner og urenheter på sålen med en klut eller med en fuktet
svamp.
Dersom apparatet har vært ubrukt lenge bruk funksjonen SELF
CLEAN (se § 16).

VIKTIG Bruk aldri rengjøringsprodukter og skarpe eller skurende
gjenstander for å rengjøre sålen og de andre av strykejernets deler.
Problem
Jernet er tilkoblet,
men sålen forblir
kald eller varmes
ikke opp.
Temperaturly-
set* tennes og
slukkes.
Dampen kommer
ikke ut eller
mengden damp
er utilstrekkelig.
Årsak
Ingen strøm.
Temperaturen er innstilt
for lavt.
Automatisk slukking* av
jernet er aktivert.
Det er normalt..
Dampinnstilleren er
innstilt på posisjon .
Ikke tilstrekkelig vann i
vanntanken.
Antidrypp-funksjon*
er aktiv (§ 11).
Løsning
Sjekk om støpselet er riktig
satt inn i kontakten eller prøv å
bruke en annen kontakt.
Sett termostaten på ønsket
posisjon.
Flytt på strykejernet.
Temperaturlyset* tennes og
slukkes for å vise at jernet varmes
opp. Så snart temperaturlyset*:
slukkes eller det grønne lyset*
tennes har jernet nådd ønsket
temperatur.
Sett dampinnstilleren på ønsket
posisjon.
Fyll opp vanntanken.
Vent til sålen har nådd ønsket
temperatur.
