ATTENTION: Store perishable foods in the freezer or fridge. Vacuum-sealing extends the life of
food, but does not turn it into a ‘preserve’, i. e. a product stable at room temperature.
ATTENTION: Food which has been heated while still sealed and then left at room temperature
are susceptible to pathogenic micro-organisms multiplying within just a few hours and being
health-threatening when consumed.
Trouble shooting
Appliance does not work
• Checkwhethercordorplugshowdamage.Ifyes–donotoperatetheappliance.
• Checkthecorrectttingofthewallplug.Checkthesocketbyplugginginanotherappliance.
• Incaseofoverheating,theapplianceswitchesoffautomatically.Inthiscaseletitcooldownfor
20 minutes and try again.
• Checkifthelidiscorrectly(audibly)lockedatbothsides.
Appliance does not create a complete vacuum inside the plastic bag
• Foracorrectsealingprocesstheopenendofthebagmustcompletelyextendintothevacuumchamber.
• Checkthesealingbaraswellasthesealinggasketsfordirt.Cleanthemandputthembackintothe
correct position.
• Checkifthelidiscorrectly(audibly)lockedatbothsides.
• Checktheplasticbagforholes.
Appliance does not seal the bag correctly
• Checkifthelidiscorrectly(audibly)lockedatbothsides.
• Shouldthesealingbargettoohotandthebagmelt,openthelidandletthesealingbarcooldownfor
a few minutes.
• Thisapplianceisproducedincompliancewithcurrentsafetystandards.Incaseofoverheating,the
appliance switches off automatically. Let it cool down for 20 minutes and try again.
Bag loses its vacuum after sealing
• Wrinkles,crumbs,greaseorhumiditycancauseleakyspotsatthesealingseam.Reopenthebag,clean
the upper part of the bag inside as well as the sealing bar. Then seal again.
• Checkthebagfordamageorholes.Paddingoutsharpedgesofthecontentsusingkitchenpaperis
recommended.
