• Do not store the appliance outside or in wet rooms.
• This electrical appliance complies with the relevant safety standards. In
case of signs of damage to the appliance or the power cord, unplug the
appliance immediately. Repairs may be affected by authorised specialist
shops only. Improper repairs may result in considerable dangers for the
user.
• Improper use and disregard of the instruction manual void all warranty
claims.
3.2 Safety advices for using the appliance
CAUTION: Hazard of injury and burns. The sealing bar
becomes hot during use. Do not touch it during operation.
• The appliance is not designed for continuous operation. Let it cool down
for 20 seconds after each vacuum-sealing cycle. After 20 cycles, the appli

ance has to cool down for 20 minutes. If this is not observed, the pump
might get damaged.
• Place the appliance beyond children’s reach.
• Place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable and even surface and do
not operate it in the vicinity of sources of heat (oven, gas flame etc.) or in
explosive environments, where inflammable liquids or gases are located.
• Prevent suction of liquids into the vacuum chamber. If liquids get inside the
vacuum chamber, please remove them immediately with a towel.
• Operate the appliance and its accessories in dry condition only.
• Always pull the power plug before cleaning.
• Let the appliance cool down before cleaning or moving it.
• Never immerse the appliance, power cord and power plug in water for
cleaning.
• Pull the power plug after each use for safe switch-off.
