Wir freuen uns, daß Sie sich für diese Kochtafel entschieden haben und bedanken uns für Ihr
Vertrauen. Damit Sie viel Freude an Ihrem neuen Gerät haben, bitten wir Sie, die nachfolgenden
Hinweise sorgfältig zu beachten, diese Bedienungsanleitung gut aufzubewahren und an den
jeweiligen Benutzer weiterzugeben. Vielen Dank.
Sicherheit beim Gebrauch
• Achten Sie darauf, daß die Netzspannung identisch ist mit der Angabe auf dem Leistungs-
schild. Nur an Wechselstrom anschließen.
•Die Anschlußleitung, auch die benachbarter Elektrogeräte, darf keine heißen Geräteteile
berühren.
•Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine wärmeunempfindliche Unterlage (keine lackierten Tische, keine
Tischdecken) und betreiben Sie es nicht in der Nähe anderer Wärmequellen (Herd, Gasflamme).
Zum Schutz gegen Brandgefahr darf das Gerät generell nur mindestens 10 cm von allen
Wandflächen entfernt aufgestellt werden. Der Raum über dem Gerät muß frei sein.
Für unbehinderte Luftzirkulation ist zu sorgen.
• Das Gerät wird während der Benutzung heiß. Beachten Sie deshalb die Verbrennungsgefahr
beim Berühren des Gerätes!
•Kinder erkennen nicht die Gefahren, die beim Umgang mit Elektrogeräten entstehen können.
Lassen Sie deshalb niemals Kinder unbeaufsichtigt mit Elektrogeräten arbeiten.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht als Raumheizkörper und immer unter Aufsicht. Achten Sie auch
darauf, daß Fette und Öle sich bei Überhitzung entzünden können.
• Unsere Elektrogeräte entsprechen den einschlägigen Sicherheitsbestimmungen. Ist das Gerät
oder die Anschlußleitung beschädigt, sofort den Netzstecker ziehen. Reparaturen dürfen nur
von autorisierten Fachbetrieben oder durch unsere Servicestelle durchgeführt werden. Durch
unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen.
Unsachgemäßer Gebrauch und Mißachtung der Bedienungsanleitung führen zum Verlust des
Garantieanspruchs.
Erste Inbetriebnahme
Heizen Sie die Kochplatten ohne Topf ca.

5 Minuten auf höchster Stufe auf. Dadurch erhält
die Plattenbeschichtung ihre optimale Schutzwirkung. Bitte stören Sie sich nicht an der kurz-
zeitig auftretenden leichten Rauchentwicklung.
Bedienungshinweise
Die Kochplatten sind mit einem Thermostat ausgestattet, der Ihnen eine stufenlose Regulie-
rung sowie gleichzeitig einen Überhitzungsschutz bietet. Die Kontrollampe erlischt, sobald die
eingestellte Temperatur erreicht ist. Das wechselweise Aufleuchten und Erlöschen während
des Betriebs zeigt die thermostatische Regelung an.
Verwenden Sie grundsätzlich nur Elektro-Kochtöpfe und Pfannen mit dem richtigen Durch-
messer. Bei unebenem oder zu kleinem Topfboden verschwenden Sie Energie.
Reinigung und Pflege
Halten Sie die Heizplatten stets trocken, Nässe und Dampf führen zu Rostansatz.
Zur Pflege gibt es Spezialmittel im Fachhandel.
Reinigen Sie das abgekühlte Gehäuse mit einem feuchten Lappen und Spülmittel, verwenden
Sie kein Scheuermittel und keine Stahlwolle. Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht ins Wasser und
achten Sie darauf, daß kein Dampf oder Wasser eindringen kann. Das Gerät darf nicht mit
einem Dampfstrahlgerät behandelt werden.

sure that you will have lots of pleasure with your new appliance, we ask you to carefully observe
the following notes, to keep this instruction manual for future reference and to pass it on to any
user. Thank you.
For Your Safety
• Check if the data on the type plate is in conformity with your mains voltage. Only connect to
alternating current.
• The cable, as well as the cables of adjacent electrical appliances must not contact hot parts
of the appliance.
•Put the appliance on a heat resistant base (no varnished tables, no table cloths) and do not
operate it in the proximity of other heat sources (stove, gas flames etc.).
For protection against risk of fire, the appliance must be placed at least 10 cm from all walls.
Keep the space above the appliance free and ensure unhindered air circulation.
• During use the appliance gets hot. Avoid the risk of burning while touching the appliance!
• Children don’t know the possible risks of electrical appliances. Therefore, allow children to use
electrical appliances only under supervision.
• Do not use the appliance as a heater. Always use under close supervision. Overheated fat and
oil can ignite.
• Our electrical appliances comply with the relevant safety regulations. If the appliance or the
cable is damaged, immediately unplug the appliance. Repairs can only be made by an
authorized repair shop. Inappropriate repairs may result in considerable danger for the user.
Inappropriate use or disregard of the instruction manual will lead to loss of guarantee.
Initial Use
Heat up the heating plates without a pot on maximum heat for about

5 minutes. The coating
then gets its optimal protection effect. Please don’t be bothered by the slight appearance of
smoke for a short time.
Directions For Use
The hot plates are equipped with a thermostat, which offers an infinitely variable regulation and
overheating protection at the same time. The pilot light goes out as soon as the selected
temperature is reached. The alternating lighting-up and going out during operation shows the
regulation of the thermostat.
Only use electro pots and pans with the appropriate diameter. If the pot bottom is uneven or too
small, energy will be wasted.
Cleaning And Maintenance
Always keep the heating plates dry since dampness and steam will result in rust formation.
In addition, specialist shops offer special cleansing agents.
Clean the cold casing with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, do not use any abrasive or
aggressive detergents or agents. Do not immerse the appliance in water and make sure that
no steam or water enters the appliance. You must not clean it with a steam jet appliance.
