2.2 Safety advices for using the appliance
• During operation, do not use any object to stir in the glass
jug and never touch the running blade. To avoid injuries it is
imperative to keep your hair, hands and clothes away from
the running blade!
• The appliance has a delayed motor stop after it has been
switched off; therefore please wait until it has stopped befo

re removing the lid!
• The jug is made of glass and thus, it is fragile. Handle the
glass jug with care to avoid breakage of glass and splinters!
• Be carefull with the processing of liquids. Those can splash
during use!
• There is a risk of burns using hot liquids!
• Hot liquids with temperatures over 60 °C must not be pro

cessed!
• Place the appliance on a stable and even surface and do not operate it in
the vicinity of sources of heat (oven, gas flame etc.) or in explosive envi

ronments where inflammable liquids or gases are located.
• Prior to switching the appliance on make sure that ...

On-the-Go Bottle is screwed on the appliance.

small measuring cup sticks correctly in the glass jug.
$ the blade unit is tightly screwed together with the glass jug.
• When processing hot (max. 60 °C) and foaming liquids, the glass jug
should be filled with max. 0.9 l to avoid possible spilling over.
• Hot liquids (over 60 °C) must not be processed in the On-the-Go Bottle.
• In case the blade is blocked, switch off the appliance immediately and pull
the power plug. Remove the blocking ingredients only afterwards.
• Always switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply
before changing accessories or touching moving parts.
• Avoid any no-load operation and do not handle it with hands wet.
