The Changing Table Radiator must not be fitted
underneath a socket. On no account must the
power supply cord lead over the appliance.
In order to fit the radiator to the wall remove
the base cover over the terminal by means of a
Philips screw driver (2 screws) and fold down
the upper part of the casing (fig. 2).
Then mark the drill holes (distance of the drill
holes = 80 mm) for the rawlplugs, taking the
minimum distances as per fig. 1 into account,
and position the rawlplugs.
After the radiator was fitted to the wall, the
upper casing is swivelled up, the base cover
is inserted and fastened by screws. Afterwards
tilt the appliance at such an angle to suit your
purposes and lock the swivel mechanism by
tightly screwing up both screws (fig. 3 + 4).
Plug the appliance into the socket;
the appliance is now ready for operation.
When the appliance is switched on, the heating
spiral vibrates slightly, which will disappear
after a few seconds. This vibration does not
at all affect the longevity or quality of the spiral.
Direct Mains Connection
Direct mains connection of the appliance must only be carried out by a specialist.
Here the minimum distances also have to be observed. When the radiator is being fitted in bath or
shower rooms, the regulations of the local power supply company have to be taken into account.
The appliance must be positioned in such a way that the pull switch cannot be reached from the
bath tub or the shower.
Cut the respective circuit off the mains prior to assembly. It must be ensured that the appliance can
be cut off by means of an all-pole disconnecting device with a minimum 3 mm contact gap.
Cleaning
The appliance has to be switched off and cooled prior to cleaning, and all poles have to be cut off
the mains (e.g. by unplugging the appliance).
Clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The reflector and the heating rod must only be
cleaned by a specialist.
