W e are very pleased that you chose this high-value product. Its easy operation and
the great variety possible uses w ill inspire you, too, for sure. To m ake sure that
you w ill have lots of pleasure w ith your gas cooker for a long tim e, w e ask you to
carefully read and to follow these notes.
For Your Safety:
-These gas appliances m ay only be used outdoors! -Keep out of direct sunlight.
Avoid the proxim ity of other heat sources and shelter from strong w inds.
-Put the gas cooker on a solid and even base and m ake sure the lateral distance
betw een the appliance and all surrounding w alls or other high item s is at least 20
cm . Please provide for unhindered air circulation underneath the appliance.
-Keep sufficient distance to all com bustibles.
-Parts of the appliance w ill becom e hot during usage. For this reason please pay
attention to the possible risk of burning w hen touching it. Children are not aw are
of the dangers w hich m ight occur w hen using gas appliances. For this reason keep
children aw ay and never leave the appliance unattended w hen operating it.
Inappropriate use w ill result in loss of guarantee.
To Start:
- The drip pan (1) is packaged upside dow n for reasons of space. Therefore turn
it over first and insert it into the casing (2) w ith the pan supports pointing up.
- Set the ignition knob (3) to 0 and the lock lever (4) in the upper position.
- N ow open the cover to expose the cartridge storage area (5) by pulling the lid
upw ards at the position w hich is m arked w ith 5a.
- O nly use fuel cartridges w hich are intended for this appliance and follow the
instructions printed on the can.
- Rem ove the protection cap (7) of a gas cartridge (6) and put in safe-keeping.
Note notch cut in rim at top of can (6a). W ith notch up, slide top of fuel
cartridge into cartridge storage area tow ard front of cooker until the safety
lever (6c) on cooker fits into the notch and can rest squarely on fuel cartridge
rack.
- Lock the lock lever (4) and check to ensure the gas outlet pin (6b) snugs
against the respective opening at the fuel control unit (8). A hissing sound or
sm ell indicates that gas is released -in this case im m ediately lift the lock lever
back to OFF and rem ove the gas cartridge.
- Please w ait for gas w hich m ight have been released to dissipate com pletely
before re-inserting the gas cartridge.
- Turn ignition knob counter-clockw ise to the left past M AX to ignition (START)
until you hear the click of the autom atic ignition system and the flam e ignites.
Close cover.
- Check w hether the flam e is burning. If it fails to ignite, re-position the ignition
knob to 0 and repeat the ignition procedure.
