• Time and temperature settings can be altered
o
To alter the time, press the ”J“ button once. The minute-display will blink.

With the “

“ button the time can be changed in minute steps.

To change the seconds just press the “J” button a second time. The seconds display will blink.

“ button the time can be changed in steps of seconds.

To change the temperature, press the ”J“ button a third time and the temperature display will blink.

“ button the temperature can be changed in steps of 5 °C.
• Once all settings are made, start the appliance by pressing the “START/PAUSE” button. Temperature and
time values alternate in the display. The symbol for temperature display will blink as long as the selected
temperature has been reached.
• Once the programmed time has run off, there is a 3-fold signal tone and the display shows “00:00”.
Frying in manual mode
• Press the ”ON/OFF” button for switching the appliance into selection mode.
• The display will show the default values 180 °C for temperature and “20:00” minutes for time. These values
will alternate in the display.

Removing the frying drawer / frying basket during operation
After about half of the frying time we recommend to agitate or turn the food in order to achieve best frying
results. You may repeat this several times, if required.
Note: Observe the steps in “Removing and inserting the frying drawer / frying basket”.
• Remove the frying drawer / frying basket; this will be confirmed by a 3-fold signal tone. The programme
stops, in the display the selected programme and the alternating values of temperature and time are
blinking.
• For turning the food to be fried only use heat-proof cooking cutlery.
• Slide the frying drawer into the frying chamber of the appliance again.
• Restart the appliance by pressing the “START/PAUSE” button.
Mind the hot steam coming out when opening the frying drawer! Use e.g. a pot holder as a scalding
protection!
