5. Timer photography
5.3 Set the timer
1. To ensure a proper operation, select an interval of at least 1 second longer
than the exposure time.
2. To ensure that the camera has enough time to focus (when using AF), please
set the interval to 2 seconds or longer than the exposure time.
3. When using the long exposure NR function (for some digital camera only), the
interval time should be at least twice as long as the exposure time.
4. After pressing the SET button (4), the interval time will automatically be set
from 00:00:00 to 00:00:01.
5.4 Start the timer
After pressing the TIMER START/STOP button (4), the timer will start. The focus
signal is active 2 seconds before the shutter will be released, the focus light is
indicated in blue, the release light is indicated in orange.
When the shutter is turned on, the display panel shows the remaining time. If
the sound is turned on, the timer will beep at 1 second of each interval. After
each photo is taken, the remaining number will be updated.
5.5 Finish shooting
If the timer has completed the selected number of shots, the shooting will end
automatically. To stop the shooting task before all photos have been finished,
press TIMER START/STOP button (2).
