3. Synchronisation éventuelle du compte
à rebours avec le décompte officiel
Un coup de canon et un nouveau pavillon
marquent un signal de préparation. Au
besoin, le compte à rebours de l’Oyster
Perpetual Yacht-Master II peut être
synchronisé avec le décompte officiel.
Cette opération est nécessaire lorsque
le compte à rebours de la montre a
été déclenché avec de l’avance ou du
retard au moment du départ.
– Presser fermement et brièvement le
poussoir inférieur au moment du coup
de canon pour synchroniser le compte
à rebours. L’aiguille des secondes du
compte à rebours effectue une remise
à zéro en vol et reprend sa course dès
que le poussoir est relâché. Dans
le même temps, l’aiguille des minutes
du compte à rebours se synchronise
automatiquement sur la minute la plus
proche pour compenser le retard ou
l’avance pris au moment du départ.
