STUNDENGESCHWINDIGKEIT

Mit dem Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph

Daytona können Durchschnittsgeschwin-

digkeiten (Meilen oder Kilometer) pro

Stunde über eine vorher bestimmte

Distanz abgelesen werden.

Führen Sie zum Ablesen einer Durch-

schnittsstundengeschwindigkeit die

folgenden Schritte der Reihe nach durch:

–Schrauben Sie die Drücker vollständig

auf, indem Sie sie gegen den

Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

–Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Chrono -

graphensekundenzeiger angehalten ist.

Betätigen Sie falls nötig den oberen

Drücker, um den Zeiger anzuhalten.

–Betätigen Sie den unteren Drücker,

um den Chronographensekundenzeiger

und die Totalisatoren des Chrono-

graphen auf null zurückzusetzen.

–Betätigen Sie den oberen Drücker,

um die Zeitmessung zu starten.

–Betätigen Sie erneut den oberen

Drücker, wenn die gewünschte

Distanz zurückgelegt wurde, um die

Zeitmessung zu stoppen.

–Lesen Sie die Durchschnittsstunden-

geschwindigkeit ab. Diese wird auf

der skalierten Lünette durch den

Chronographensekundenzeiger (in der

ausgewählten Einheit/h) angezeigt.

–Verschrauben Sie die Drücker wieder

fest, indem Sie sie im Uhrzeigersinn

drehen.
