Machine voor ultra-krachtige dansritmes
Bevat naast drums ook baspartijen en bevat 400 verschillende vooringestelde patronen die
rechtstreeks toegankelijk zijn voor trip-hop, drum Ôn bass, en minimalistische techno.
Bevat alle soorten klanken voor dansmuziek
De DR-202 beschikt uiteraard over de complete verzameling kwaliteitsklanken van
machines zoals de TR-808/909 en TB-303, maar biedt eveneens een nieuw gamma klanken
die ideaal zijn voor trip-hop, ÒplasticÓ klanken inbegrepen.
Sturingskenmerken geschikt voor live-uitvoeringen
Beschikt over een Realtime Modify-functie waardoor de klank in real-time kan gewijzigd
worden, door het simpelweg afstellen van de controleknoppen tijdens het spelen van een
patroon. De DR-202 bevat eveneens een MUTE-functie -waardoor een bepaalde partij of
bepaald instrument ogenblikkelijk kan worden uitgezet- en een Roll-functie waardoor
ultrasnelle rolls van het drum Ôn bass type kunnen worden gemaakt. Deze kenmerken
waarborgen betere live-uitvoeringen.
Eenvoudig te combineren met analoge schijven
Omdat men met ŽŽn druk op de knop naar het begin van de song kan terugkeren, en men
de BPM kan doen overeenkomen met het tempo aan te slaan, kan het toestel goed worden
gebruikt voor synchroon spelen met analoge schijven.
Snel en eenvoudig creëren van diverse “Grooves”
Door de Groove Quantize-functie van het toestel kan men verschillende soorten ÒgroovesÓ
cre‘ren zoals Òshuffle beatÓ en Ògroovy.Ó
