Onnauwkeurigheden in de
timing corrigeren (Quantize)
Quantize is een functie die de timing van noten corrigeert
volgens een opgegeven resolutie.
Voorbeeld: zelfs als u met een timing van kwartnoten wil
spelen, is het mogelijk dat de noten een fractie vroeger of
later vallen dan de precieze kwartnootintervallen. In zulke
gevallen kan u kwantiseren op kwartnoot-timing (1/4) om
de timing van de noten op precieze kwartnootintervallen te
zetten.
1. Druk op [Function].
2. Kies “Edit Menu” met de [-] en [+] Composer
Select-knoppen.
3. Druk op [Rec].
4. Kies “Quantize” met de [-] en [+] Composer
Select-knoppen.

5. Druk op [Rec].
Het volgende scherm verschijnt.

6. Met de [Bwd]/[Fwd]-knoppen kiest u de track
waarvan u de opname wil kwantiseren.
Instellingen: ALL, RHYTHM, ACCOMP, BASS, LOWER,
UPPER, SOLO
Als u ÒALLÓ kiest, worden de opnamen van alle tracks
gekwantiseerd.
7. Druk op [Rec].
8. Met de [Bwd] / [Fwd]-knoppen stelt u “from” in
(startmaat voor de kwantisering).
9. Druk op [Rec].
10.Met de [Bwd] / [Fwd]-knoppen stelt u “for” in
(het aantal maten dat u wil kwantiseren).
Om tot en met de laatste maat te kwantiseren, stelt u
Òfor: ALLÓ in.
11.Druk op [Rec].
12.Met de [Bwd] / [Fwd]-knoppen stelt u “Res” in
(de timing waarop de noten moeten worden
gezet).

13.Druk op [Rec].
Het volgende scherm verschijnt.

Om de handeling te annuleren, drukt u op [Reset].
14.Om de Quantize-functie uit te voeren, drukt u
nogmaals op [Rec].
Wanneer de kwantisering voltooid is, verschijnt het basis-
scherm opnieuw.
