Before You Begin
Setting Up the Music Stand

1.
Gently raise the music stand, then secure it in
place as shown in the figure.
2.
To collapse the stand, fold in the metal fittings
while supporting the stand with hand and gen-
tly fold down the stand.
Connecting the Power Cord
1.
First, make sure that the [Power] switch at the
panel’s left side is OFF (Upper position).
2.
Connect the supplied power cord to the AC Inlet
connector, then plug the other end into an AC
outlet.

* Only use the power cord supplied with this instrument.
* Whenever you do not intend to use the instrument for extended
periods of time, pull out the power cord from the AC outlet.
Turning the Power On and Off
* Once the connections have been completed, turn on or off power
to your various devices in the order specified. By turning on or
off devices in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction
and/or damage to speakers and other devices.
Tuning On the Power
1.
Make sure of the following before the power is
turned on.
Is the power cable correctly connected to the AC inlet?
Is the power cable correctly connected to the AC outlet?
Is the [Master Volume] knob (located at the panel’s left
side) set to the Min (minimum) position?

Press the [Power] switch to turn on the power.

* This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval
(a few seconds) after power up is required before the unit will
operate normally.
3.
The [Master Volume] knob located on the
panel’s left side is an overall control for adjust-
ing the volume of the entire instrument.
