Als de A-PRO via USB op uw computer is aangesloten, kunnen voor de A-PRO twee MIDI-uitvoerpoorten worden gebruikt (PORT 1 en PORT 2). Elke controller van de A-PRO kan worden
toegewezen om MIDI-commando's naar een van de twee poorten te versturen.
Voor meer informatie over hoe die toewijzing worden ingesteld, zie “Control maps gebruiken” (p. 29) of “Een MIDI-commando op het A-PRO klavier toewijzen” (p. 48).
Als u gebruik maakt van DAW-software, en u de geluidsmodule gewoon aanstuurt voor het deel
dat geluid produceert, kunnen voor de A-PRO controllers dezelfde MIDI-uitvoerpoorten worden
gebruikt als voor het klavier. Wanneer de A-PRO standaard is ingesteld, worden de
prestatiegegevens van het A-PRO klavier ook van PORT 1 verstuurd. U kunt de controllers dus ook
aan PORT 1 toewijzen.
Sommige DAW-software maakt gebruik van een invoerpoort om het mixergedeelte van de DAW-
software aan te sturen. Aangezien de A-PRO met twee MIDI-uitvoerpoorten is uitgerust, kunt u
één poort gebruiken om geluid af te spelen en de geluidsmodule te bedienen, en de andere om
uw DAW-software aan te sturen.
Wanneer u bijvoorbeeld de knoppen [A1]–[A8] op de A-PRO wilt gebruiken om de geluiden op
uw geluidsmodule te wijzigen, en de schuifknoppen [S1]–[S9] om de volumefaders van de mixer
van uw DAW-software aan te sturen, kunt u de controllers als volgt aan de MIDI-uitvoerpoorten
toewijzen:
[A1]–[A8] knoppen: PORT 1
[S1]–[S9] schuifknoppen: PORT 2
