Read these instructions carefully before using the unit.
Keep these instructions safe for future reference. Should you sell the
unit, pass them on to the buyer!
1. Safety instructions
1.1 General safety
Do not attempt to operate the appliance if it appears damaged risk of
electric shock!
Repairs may only be made by authorized specialists (see Fig. 1). Improper
repairs can be hazardous risk of electric shock!
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with re-
stricted physical, sensory or mental capacity and/or without the necessary life
experience or knowledge, unless they be supervised by a person responsible
for their safety, or receive instructions on how to use the appliance from such
a person. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
Do not store any explosive materials in this appliance, such as aerosol cans
containing an inflammable propellant gas, for example.
Only connect the appliance as follows:
Using the supplied 12 V lead to 12 V DC power supply (car cigarette lighter)
Do not touch the plug with wet or sweaty hands risk of electric shock!
Replace the power cord if damaged to avoid injury. The repair may only be
performed by an authorized specialist risk of electric shock!
Never pull the plug from the 12 V socket by the lead.
Always pull the plug out of the electric socket before cleaning and when you
have finished using the appliance risk of electric shock!
1.2 Running the appliance safely
Before starting the appliance, make sure that the cord and the plug are dry
risk of short circuiting!
Do not put the appliance in the immediate vicinity of naked flames, open fires
or other sour ces of heat risk of fire!
Never immerse the appliance in water risk of electric shock!
When operating the cool box on 12 V, make sure that the 12 V plug is inserted
firmly and securely in the cigarette lighter socket and that the socket is clean.
If there is insufficient contact between the plug and the socket, the vibration
of the vehicle could result in the current supply intermittently switching on and
off, causing the cool box to overheat.
Protect the appliance and the lead from heat and moisture (such as direct
sunlight, for example) (see Fig. 3) risk of electric shock!
This appliance must not be exposed to rain.
The manufacturer can accept no liability for damage (or losses) sustained (or
incurred) as a result of improper use or incorrect operation of the appliance.

3. Assembly
You will need a screwdriver to assemble the cooler (not included).
Set the wheel lock onto the wheel, stick it onto the axle and lock it into
position with the metal clamp (Fig. 8 and 9)
Push the axle through the opening in the cooler and mount the second
wheel (Fig. 10, 11 and 12)
Use a screwdriver and the three screws on the bottom of the cooler to fix
the foot in position (Fig. 13)
Use a screwdriver and the four screws on the back of the cooler to fix the
telescopic rod in position (Fig. 14)
4. Intended use
The electric cool box is only suitable for private use in the home or when
camping to keep pre-cooled food and drinks cool. The appliance is not
intended for commercial use.
5. General instructions on using the appliance
Do not lift the cooler by the telescopic rod (see Fig. 6).
The cooler is not designed to be pulled over stairs or escalators (see Fig. 7).
The cooler is not intended to run constantly. Ice can form on the alumi-
nium radiation fins. We recommend switching off the appliance after it
has been running for six (6) days. You can then restart the appliance two
hours later.
Dry the surfaces of the items you wish to keep cool to keep water
from condensing.
If you are not using the cool box, keep the lead in the compart-
ment provided for it in the lid.
If you are using a 12V source of electricity, make sure that the power sup-
ply to the cooler is not interrupted in the event that the car engine on and
off frequently, and that the car‘s battery does not run down excessively
when the engine is switched off.
6. Operating
Before starting the cooler, we recommend washing it out inside with
a damp cloth for reasons of hygiene (see also the chapter, Care and
cleaning).
When the handle is folded down toward the front or when the cooler is being
carried, the lid is tightly closed. Fold the handle back to put items in or take
them out of the cooler (see Fig. 4).
Place the cool box down on a solid, level surface. The power lead
is permanently attached to the cool box and can be found in the
compartment in the lid. Connect the 12 V lead with the cigarette
lighter socket.
The cooler immediately begins cooling the interior of the compartment. It
does not switch off automatically when a minimum temperature is reached.
The refrigerating unit keeps running as long as the cooler is hooked up to a
source of electricity.
Tips for optimising performance
Choose a well-ventilated placed, shielded from the sun’s rays.
Only put pre-chilled items in the cooler.
Do not open the cooler more often than necessary.
Do not leave the lid open longer than necessary.
7. Care and cleaning
Note!
Always disconnect the lead from the power supply before cleaning.
Never clean the cooler under running water.
Do not use harsh cleaning agents or chemicals.
Before cleaning, remove the electric cover by slightly tilting it
then pulling it out through the opening at the right in the back (see
Fig. 5).
Use a damp cloth and mild soap solution to clean the interior.
Clean the appliance exterior with a damp cloth.
8. Possible malfunctions
First check whether you have properly adhered to the instructions
for using the cooler, and then further check the following:
Is the lead properly connected and is the cigarette lighter in your car
functioning properly?
