Caution:
The FX-32 battery (Art. No. 4846) features an integral equa-
lizer / protective circuit with several features, one of which
is to prevent overcharging of the cells. However, to save
energy the battery should be disconnected from the char-
ger after a maximum of eight hours.
The battery must always be charged using the charger
included in the set! Chargers such as the Power Peak Infi-
nity or similar units are not suitable, as these devices are
designed for batteries with high cell-counts. They generate
a very high voltage at the cut-off point, and this could ruin
the battery protection circuit.

(around 0.2% per day), and they can therefore be stored for
long periods without difficulty.
After approximately five months, or when their voltage
falls to 2.5 V / cell, they must be recharged. It is essential
to avoid deep-discharging, as this causes permanent cell
damage which results in permanent capacity loss (the elec-
tronic protection circuit cannot prevent this). LiPo batteries
should be charged up to at least 50% of full capacity before
any protracted period of storage.
