unitswithlong-lifeindustrial-standardpotentiometers.
Weplacedparticularemphasisonanaccuratefeelingofcontrol
whenthestickspassthroughthecentreposition.
STICK LENGTH ADJUSTMENT
Thesticklengthisinnitelyvariable,andcanbesettotheopti-
mumlengthtosuitthepilot.
CENTRING SPRING TENSION ADJUSTMENT
The tension of the stick centring springs is innitely variable,
andcanbeadjustedtosuitthepilot'sexactpreference.
Thisrequirestheremovalofthetransmitterbackpanel.Adjust
thespringtensionbyapplyingthe1.5mmallenkeyintheposi-
tions indicated.
4.1 SWITCHING THE TRANSMITTER ON / OFF
• Slidethemainpowerswitchonthetransmittertotheright.
•AftercheckingtheRFenvironmentthemonitorLED
switches on to indicate RF transmission.
•ThescreendisplaysthesymbolforRFradiation
Up to 36 FASST transmitters may be operated simulta-
neously on the same frequency band. If the band is fully
occupied,
the transmitter disables the RF section. Try again
at a later time.
Note:
IfthetransmitteristtedwithanSDcard,thestart-upphasewill
beslightlylongerasthetransmitterhastoreadalltheleson
the card.
Caution:
Donotswitchoffduringtheinitialisationphase,asthismaycor-
ruptthemodelsettingsontheSDcard.
SWITCHING THE TRANSMITTER OFF
• Slidethemainpowerswitchonthetransmittertotheleft.
• TheRFsectionisswitchedoff,andthedatastoredinthewor-
kingmemoryaresavedeithertotheinternalmemory
or written to the SD card.
If the transmitter is switched on again during the power-off
and memory storage phase, this action is ignored in the
interests of data security.

ADJUSTING THE STICK ANGLE
The1.5mmallenkeysuppliedinthesetcanbeusedtoadjust
the angle of the stick by a maximum of about 5°, in order to
obtaintheoptimumergonomicposition.

Anti-clockwiserotation:->sticktiltstowardstheinside
Do not unscrew the screw too far.
