• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if the blades are damaged.
• Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun, etc.).
• Always place the appliance on a flat, level surface during use.
• Remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and prior to cleaning and
fitting or removing all parts and attachments.
• NEVER TOUCH THE PARTS WHEN THEY ARE STILL ROTATING OR IN USE.
• Do not pull the power cord in order to disconnect the appliance.
• Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged or if the appliance is faulty; in
this case, take it to your nearest Authorised Assistance Centre.
• In the event that you decide to dispose of the appliance, we advise you to make it inoperative
by cutting off the power cord. We also recommend that any parts that could be dangerous be

• The blades of the rollers are extremely sharp and must be handled with precaution and
always by grasping their plastic part.
• To prevent accidents never insert the rollers onto the base before fitting the hopper in place.
• Make sure the hopper and the roller on its clutch have been correctly fitted as well as the con-
veyor and the shredding attachment before plugging in and starting up the appliance.
• Never insert food by pushing it in by hand but always utilise the provided food presser.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains power; disconnect it
after each use.
• Never remove the roller when the appliance is in use.
• Do not overfill the hopper; never insert more than one piece at a time.
• To prevent the appliance from overheating RESPECT THE MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS
USE TIME OF 2 MINUTES; always halt the appliance and make sure it has cooled
before restarting if you must use it more than once at a time.
• Do not use the appliance to chop overly hard food (such as ice cubes for instance).
• This appliance must be used solely for chopping vegetables and/or fruit.
• This appliance conforms to the 2006/95/EC and EMC2004/108/EEC directives.
BEFORE USING THE ELECTRIC SLICER & GREATER
• Check that the correct voltage is marked on the data panel on the base of the appliance.
• Before using rinse the parts which will come into contact with food under running water.
• Do not put the base containing the motor into water or into other liquids. To clean this
part use a damp cloth and then dry.
• Before assembling and/or disassembling the appliance check that the plug has not
been inserted into the socket.
• Handle the rollers with care because they are sharp and could cause injury.
