PROBLEM 6
Setting the water temperature of the hand and head
shower. The thermostat does not correspond to the
actual temperature.
CAUSE/SOLUTION
The thermostat should be adjusted. Consult the Grohe
manual for your Grohe thermostat tap.
PROBLEM 8
Setting the temperature of the thermostat is difficult
or absolutely impossible.
CAUSE/SOLUTION
It is possible that the hot and cold-water pipelines have
been interchanged during the installation of your cabin.
Check whether the inlet of hot and cold water
corresponds to the red (hot) and blue (cold) point at the
bottom of the tap body.
PROBLEM 8
Drainage does not take place or only with difficulty.
CAUSE/SOLUTION
- The hair collection tray in your siphon is stopped up.
Clean the same in time. If not cleaned in time, serious
leakage may result.
- The slope of the pipeline in your system is not
adequate to allow the input water to drain off. For this,
consult the installer who has installed the drain
pipelines in your house.
- Fault in drain system of customer, for example, bad
ventilation of drain system.
PROBLEM 10
There is an unpleasant odour in your drain.
CAUSE/SOLUTION
The stink trap in your siphon is missing. Always replace
the same when you clean the siphon.
PROBLEM 10
The temperature in the cabin is different at the top and
at the bottom.
CAUSE/SOLUTION
- Hot air rises, and this causes a temperature difference
between the top and the bottom of the cabin. In order to
minimise this, the room in which the cabin is placed
should not be too cold this would cause the
temperature to fall even lower.
- The door is left ajar to an excessive extent (the sealing
profile does not connect properly or is damaged). This
means that heat management on the cabin is adversely
affected.
PROBLEM 11
The supply of water to the steam generator is via a
filter. If this is blocked or removed it will lead to faults in
the steam functioning on the one hand and excessive
filling noises on the other. Clean filter if faults E1 or E5
occur regularly
PROBLEM 12
Steam production is lower than normal
The steam generator consists of heating elements of
2.4 kW and 1kW respectively.
Check the fuse in the fuse holder of the 1kW coil on the
control unit.
The two elements are also provided with thermal safety
devices that switch off if the elements overheat to
prevent damage to the installation. Turn off power to the
cabin and wait a few hours for the safety devices to cool
down.
Then re-try the steam function.
PROBLEM 13
At the end of the steam cycle hot water drains from
beneath the technical panel.
This may be because the water drain of the steam
nozzle is not connected or that the drain is blocked.
Remedy this problem straightaway otherwise it will
cause damage to the shower tray.
