•Als de duwhulp is ingeschakeld, draaien mogelijk de pedalen mee. Zorg er bij een
actieve duwhulp voor dat u met uw benen voldoende afstand houdt tot de draaiende
pedalen. Er bestaat letselrisico.
•Verwijder de accu uit de e-bike, voordat u werkzaamheden (bijv. inspectie, reparatie,
montage, onderhoud, werkzaamheden aan de ketting/riem enz.) aan de e-bike
uitvoert, de e-bike transporteert of opslaat. Bij onbedoelde activering van het
e-bikesysteem bestaat gevaar voor letsel.
Veiligheidsinstructies accu
•Open de accu niet. Het gevaar van kortsluiting is aanwezig. Als de accu is geopend,
vervalt elke garantieaanspraak.
•Bescherm de accu tegen hitte (bijv. langdurig zonlicht), vuur en onderdompeling in
water. Bewaar de accu niet in de buurt van hete of brandbare voorwerpen. De kans op
explosies is aanwezig.
•Houd de niet-gebruikte accu uit de buurt van paperclips, muntjes, sleutels, spijkers,
schroeven of andere kleine metalen voorwerpen die een overbrugging van de
contacten kunnen veroorzaken. Een kortsluiting tussen de accucontacten kan
brandwonden of brand tot gevolg hebben. In geval van op een dergelijke manier
ontstane kortsluitingsschade vervalt elke aanspraak op garantie.
•Voorkom mechanische belastingen, schokken of een blootstelling aan hitte. Hierdoor
kunnen de accucellen beschadigd raken waardoor de ontvlambare vloeistof uit de accu
kan lopen.
•Plaats het laadapparaat en de accu niet in de buurt van brandbare materialen. Laad de
accu alleen in droge staat en op een brandveilige plaats op. Vanwege de tijdens het
laden optredende warmte bestaat brandgevaar.
•De e-bike-accu mag niet zonder toezicht worden opgeladen.
•Bij een onjuist gebruik kan vloeistof uit de accu lopen. Voorkom contact hiermee.
Bij toevallig contact met water afspoelen. Als de vloeistof in de ogen komt, dient
u tevens een arts te raadplegen. Uitgelopen accuvloeistof kan tot huidirritaties of
verbrandingen leiden.
•Bij beschadigingen of een onjuist gebruik van de accu kunnen er gassen ontsnappen.
Zorg voor een goede ventilatie met frisse lucht en raadpleeg bij klachten een arts. De
gassen kunnen de luchtwegen irriteren.
•Laad de accu alleen in geschikte originele laadapparaten op. Bij gebruik van niet-
originele laadapparaten kan een brandrisico niet worden uitgesloten.
