MPOSTAZIONE DI UN SERVER MUSICALE
Perchè SUPERCONNECT possa riprodurre fi le musicali da un computer
collegato, il computer deve essere prima confi gurato per il media
sharing.
Il media sharing UPnP consente ai dispositivi come SUPERCONNECT
di riprodurre musica da una libreria media condivisa navigando nei
menu di tag come Artista, Album o Genere.
Se utilizzate un PC con Windows Media Player 11 o successiva (WMP),
o un Apple Mac con OS X 10 o successiva ed un’applicazione UPnP
installata, è possibile collegare SUPERCONNECT e audio streaming.
N.B: iTunes attualmente non funziona come un media server UPnP,
ma esistono una serie di add-on disponibili di terzi che vi
consentiranno di accedere alla vostra libreria iTunes.
MEDIA SHARING CON WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER
Il più comune server UPnP server è Windows Media Player (versione11
o successiva) anche se possono essere utilizzati altri server e
piattaforme UPnP.
Per confi gurare WMP per il media sharing:
Assicurarsi che il vostro PC e la radio siano connessi alla stessa rete.
SUPERCONNECT sarà identifi cato dal vostro PC come ‘SUPERCONNECT’.
In WMP, aggiungete alla libreria I fi le audio e le cartelle che
desiderate condividere con SUPERCONNECT (LIBRARY > ADD TO
LIBRARY . . . .).
Accertarsi che la radio abbia accesso ai contenuti condivisi
Selezionandola e cliccando ALLOW. È possibile anche impostare un
nome per le impostazioni dei media condivisi.
Il PC è pronto per trasmettere musica alla radio. Il servizio UPnP WMP
gira in background; non c’è bisogno di avviare esplicitamente WMP
