The tamper switch is normal closed (N.C.)
while the card reader is mounted to the
housing. It is opened when the card reader
is removed from the housing. To set o an
alarm in case of tampering, connect these
connectors in series to a 24-hour N.C.
protection zone of an alarm system.

Connection to a doorbell is optional. The
doorbell contact on the control panel
is intended for triggering a low-voltage
doorbell. The contact‘s maximum voltage/
current connection may not exceed
24 V/DC, 1 A. Do not use this connector with
a doorbell, which requires a higher voltage.
c) Creating a master card
You must create a master card before programming. A master card is required for
programming.
If the master card is lost, a new one must be made. The old master card becomes
invalid as soon as a new one is created.
Proceed as follows to create a master card.
1. Disconnect the card reader from the power supply.
2. Activate CMC mode (CMC = Create Master Card). Switch the CMC jumper from OFF
to ON, as depicted. The CMC jumper is located on the circuit board, marked with
ON OFF CMC.
3. Reconnect the card reader to the power supply. The card reader begins beeping.
The blue status LED (1) ashes for approx. 1 minute. The master card must be
created within this time.
4. Switch the CMC jumper back to OFF. The beeping stops.
