POMPSET VOOR DE BANDEN (2/3)
Gebruik bij een lekke band de kit onder de
voetsteun van de passagier 1 door de twee
schroeven 2 los te draaien.
Draaiende motor, parkeerrem vastgezet,
– rol de slang van de fles uit;
– sluit de slang 5 van de compressor aan
bij de toevoer van de fles 10;
– sluit, afhankelijk van de auto, de fles 10
bij de flesafdruk 9 aan op de compressor;
– schroef het dopje van het ventiel van het
betreffende wiel los en schroef de pomp-
aansluiting van de fles 3 erop;

Voordat u de set gebruikt zet
u de auto aan de kant van de
weg, ver genoeg van het ver-
keer, schakelt u de alarmknip-
perlichten in, zet u de handrem vast, laat
u alle inzittenden uit de auto stappen en
zorgt u dat deze zich op veilige afstand
van het verkeer bevinden.

Als u de auto heeft stilgezet
in de berm van de weg, moet
u de andere weggebruikers
waarschuwen door middel van
de gevarendriehoek of op een andere,
in het land waar u bent, voorgeschreven
manier.
– sluit de dop 4 uitsluitend aan op de ac-
cessoireaansluiting van de auto;
– druk op de schakelaar 6 om de band op
te pompen tot de voorgeschreven ban-
denspanning (raadpleeg de paragraaf
“Bandenspanning” in hoofdstuk 4);
– na maximaal 15 minuten stopt u het
pompen om de spanning af te lezen (op
de manometer 7).
NB: terwijl de fles leegloopt (ongeveer
30 seconden), geeft de manometer 7 kort
een druk tot 6 bar aan, daarna daalt de
spanning.
