 volg de tekening op de knop 1 van
de hendel en, afhankelijk van de uitvoering
van de auto, trek de ring omhoog tegen de
knop om de achteruitversnelling in te scha-
kelen.
   
 raadpleeg de paragraaf “ Automatische
transmissie” in hoofdstuk 2.
De achteruitrijlichten gaan branden, zodra
de achteruitversnelling is ingeschakeld en
het contact aanstaat.


Trek de handgreep 2 iets omhoog waarna u
de knop 3 indrukt en de handgreep omlaag
duwt.

Trek de handgreep 2 naar boven en contro-
leer of de auto goed blijft stilstaan.
Bij stilstaande auto, kan het
nodig zijn, afhankelijk van de
helling en de belasting van de
auto, de handrem minstens
twee extra tanden vaster te zetten en
een versnelling in te schakelen (1
e
of
achteruitversnelling) voor de auto’s met
handgeschakelde versnellingsbak of
stand voor de auto’s met automatische
transmissie.
Bij het manoeuvreren kan de
auto aan de onderkant ergens
tegenaan rijden (bijvoorbeeld:
contact met een paaltje, een
trottoir of ander stadsmeubilair) en daar-
door beschadigen (bijvoorbeeld: vervor-
ming van een as, enz.).
Om ieder risico van een ongeluk te voor-
komen, moet u uw auto door een merk-
dealer laten controleren.
Tijdens het rijden moet de
handrem helemaal vrij gezet
zijn (rood waarschuwings-
lampje uit), risico van overver-
hitting of beschadiging.
